About the role

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of both residential and commercial properties in San Francisco, California. This is a contract position where you will ensure that tenants experience exceptional service while managing the financial and operational aspects of the properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and be well-versed in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal functionality and tenant satisfaction.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including tenant acquisition, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor financial performance by preparing budgets, tracking expenses, and managing rent collection.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, including HUD requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare reports on property performance and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategies for maximizing property value.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management with a focus on residential and commercial properties.
  • Knowledge of HUD regulations and housing compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple properties effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for tenant and vendor interactions.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and address tenant concerns professionally.
  • Familiarity with property management software and tools.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
