About the role

Property Manager is a working professional responsible for providing clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Our Property Managers must demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners, tenants, and vendors. This role entails extensive involvement in helping tenants renew, sign, understand, and abide by their lease agreement. It also includes working with tenants and vendors to fill maintenance requests, verifying and submitting invoices for payment, reviewing property owner statements for accuracy, and working with property owners for needed approvals and notifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier customer service to clients, owners, tenants, and vendors
  • Assist tenants with lease agreements, renewals, and compliance
  • Process maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors
  • Verify and submit invoices for payment
  • Review property owner statements for accuracy
  • Obtain necessary approvals and provide notifications to property owners
  • Demonstrate leadership and build trust with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Happy, positive, and upbeat demeanor
  • Extremely thorough and detail-oriented
  • New Hampshire Real Estate Salesperson License (or willingness to quickly obtain)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Solid decision-making skills; capable of principle-based decision making and critical thinking
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Local area knowledge
  • Building maintenance knowledge
  • Computer proficiency—Microsoft Office/Excel (60+ WPM + 10 key fluent)
  • Positive attitude with thick skin
  • Competency in the following areas:
    • Lease Agreements
    • Management Agreements
    • Residential Tenancies Act
    • Anti-Discrimination Act
    • Trade Practices and Fair Housing Laws

The Property Manager is capable of high output in a fast-paced environment, highly organized with strong time management skills, and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and instill trust, the Property Manager is a natural communicator with good negotiation skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently.
