Property Manager

About the role

Oversee 300+ units in beautiful Overland Park, Kansas. The ideal candidate enjoys customer service and working with the public, and has experience creating and enhancing value at all phases of a property's life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a large residential portfolio
• Prepare and report on budgets
• Oversee leasing activities and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Lead and develop a staff of two or more

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years in a Property Manager role
• Proven experience managing a team
• Strong technical skills in budget preparation, finance, leasing, and operations
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing laws

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Standing and walking, including giving property tours and meeting with potential tenants
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Ability to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in various weather conditions
