Property Manager
About the role
Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee apartment communities in Taunton and Middleboro, MA. The ideal candidate will effectively oversee all property operations and the overall direction of all site office and maintenance staff while ensuring compliance with the existing Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal occupancy, proper staffing, budget preparation, compliance monitoring, and processing resident certification/recertification forms.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all property operations and direct site office and maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC and other affordable housing programs.
- Maintain optimal occupancy and proper staffing with skilled personnel.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring compliance with financial constraints.
- Complete and oversee processing of resident certification and recertification forms.
- Manage resident relations, budgetary analysis, and staff supervision.
Requirements
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, federally-assisted housing, and all State and local housing regulations.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing, and resident relations skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work self-motivated.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related property management and supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Onesite software is a plus.
- LIHTC recertification experience required.

Pay
$75,000–$80,000 annually.
