Property Manager
About the role
Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced and seasoned Property Manager to oversee a new property currently being leased up in Templeton, MA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with leasing up a property and then transitioning to operations.
Responsibilities
- Effectively oversee all property operations and the overall direction of all site office and maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with the existing LIHTC program
- Ensure each property is optimally occupied
- Properly staff with skilled personnel
- Prepare budgets
- Maintain compliance within budget constraints
- Complete and oversee processing of all resident certification/recertification forms
Requirements
- Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, federally-assisted, and all State and local housing regulations
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize a must
- Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing skills and resident relations skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years related property management and supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of Onesite a plus
- LIHTC recertification experience required
- Experience with a community lease-up including showing units and processing initial paperwork
Compensation and Benefits
