Property Manager

About the role

A Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee all on-site apartment community operations, including leasing, maintenance, and marketing. This is a leadership position for a proactive professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of marketing, maintenance, and leasing for the apartment community.
• Recruit, train, and develop on-site staff.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring rent is collected and posted accurately.
• Resolve issues promptly with proper follow-through.
• Enter unit, move-in, move-out, and leasing data into property management software.
• Manage and distribute tenant correspondence electronically, including late payment notices.
• Conduct regular inspections of vacant units and property grounds.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and supply orders with maintenance staff.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar property management role.
• Property Management Software experience (Yardi preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated team leader with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to prioritize workloads, motivate staff, and manage multiple projects with urgency.

Qualifications

• College degree and professional certifications preferred.
• Proven record-keeping and file maintenance abilities.
