Join our team in Big Sky, Montana, as a Property Manager and ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standard, consistently prepared for guest arrivals in alignment with Natural Retreats' brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist management in overseeing owner and guest services, fulfilling requests from both.
- Oversee all aspects of maintenance, housekeeping management, and vendor relationships.
- Assist with housekeeping as needed to ensure homes are ready for guest arrival.
- Address deferred maintenance issues to ensure all homes meet NR brand standards.
- Maintain full knowledge of and operational systems in rental properties, including gas, HVAC, electrical, entertainment, water, and sewage supply.
- Manage stocks of consumable items (e.g., lightbulbs, batteries, dishes) efficiently and within budget, assigning appropriate charges to owners.
- Conduct property inspections and perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs, such as:
- Resetting Wi-Fi routers and modems
- Resetting and programming cable and satellite TV receivers
- Performing light plumbing and painting repairs
- Work closely with vendors to schedule and supervise subcontracted work.
- Ensure personalized attention and care for homeowners and deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure.
- Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of the destination to effectively communicate with guests and other departments.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
- Model professionalism through work ethic, appearance, timekeeping, and preparedness to gain trust and respect.
Requirements
- Current Montana Property Management license or ability to obtain and maintain licensure within the required timeframe.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, property management, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, which may include drug testing and/or background screening.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of home systems.
- Proficiency with hand and basic power tools.
- Strong local knowledge of Big Sky and the surrounding area.
- Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and work independently or as part of a team.
- Highly autonomous, self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Pay
$28.00 - $29.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
Schedule
- Full-time position with flexible hours due to the nature of the job.
- Weekends and holidays are generally busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days.
- Typical working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, though this may vary based on occupancy levels.
- Required to be on call 1 to 2 nights per week for emergencies or unpredictable guest arrivals.
- Daily schedules may vary seasonally, with two days off per week where possible.
- Vacation is generally taken outside of peak season.
