Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct showings for available properties.
- Follow up on leads and manage prospects through the automated system.
- Create and execute lease agreements in collaboration with the attorney.
- Conduct property inspections before and after move-in/move-out, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Oversee maintenance operations, including follow-up on make-ready work, coordination with maintenance technicians, and managing pending work orders with the corporate operations staff.
- Handle emergency situations for properties under management, coordinating responses and resolutions with the operations team.
- Operate independently in the Sarasota office while maintaining close communication with the corporate office and following established procedures.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract new owners and tenants.
- Network and build relationships to procure new property management accounts and rental listings.
- Maintain accuracy and up-to-date listings for marketing efforts.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in property management software, maintenance scheduling systems, and advertising/scheduling platforms.
- Schedule and track property showings, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with prospective tenants.
- Periodically travel to the Fort Myers office for meetings, training sessions, and operational coordination.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker license required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision while managing multiple priorities.
- Proven track record in marketing, networking, and business development.
- Strong knowledge of Florida landlord-tenant laws and leasing procedures.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
