Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct showings for available properties.
  • Follow up on leads and manage prospects through the automated system.
  • Create and execute lease agreements in collaboration with the attorney.
  • Conduct property inspections before and after move-in/move-out, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Oversee maintenance operations, including follow-up on make-ready work, coordination with maintenance technicians, and managing pending work orders with the corporate operations staff.
  • Handle emergency situations for properties under management, coordinating responses and resolutions with the operations team.
  • Operate independently in the Sarasota office while maintaining close communication with the corporate office and following established procedures.
  • Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract new owners and tenants.
  • Network and build relationships to procure new property management accounts and rental listings.
  • Maintain accuracy and up-to-date listings for marketing efforts.
  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in property management software, maintenance scheduling systems, and advertising/scheduling platforms.
  • Schedule and track property showings, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with prospective tenants.
  • Periodically travel to the Fort Myers office for meetings, training sessions, and operational coordination.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker license required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven track record in marketing, networking, and business development.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida landlord-tenant laws and leasing procedures.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
