Property Manager

About the role

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Property Manager for a new construction community in Prince Georges County, MD. This position is ideal for someone with at least 3+ years of prior property management experience as a Tax Credit Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the property is in good condition
• Handle tenant relations, including lease agreements, move-ins, move-outs, and rent collection
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and cash flow control
• Review and certify resident income in strict adherence to agency regulations
• Work independently and follow directions from superiors
• Use Yardi software for property management tasks

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of prior property management experience as a Tax Credit Community Manager
• Tax Credit experience desired
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification is a plus
• Excellent communications skills and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Experience with Yardi software
