Property Manager

About the role

Habitat America, an expanding property management company, seeks an experienced, professional full-time affordable housing Community Manager in Baltimore City for 22 Light St and Flamingo Place Apartments. This role is responsible for both communities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for residents and stakeholders
• Ensure strict adherence to agency regulations for resident income certification and recertification
• Review monthly operating statements for accuracy, budget-to-actual variances, and bottom-line cash flow control
• Produce accurate and timely reports and monthly financials
• Create and execute resident social programs
• Supervise employees

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior property management experience as a Community Manager
• Tax Credit Certifications or other industry certifications preferred
• Familiarity with tax credit programs is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Yardi software experience is a plus
