Property Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. This is a full-time position with weekly pay. The Property Manager will focus primarily on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will both sell and rent homes as well as leasing lots for those who purchase outside of our company.

The ideal candidate is extremely personable, detailed, task-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service. We are looking for a long-term professional with 2-5 years of property management experience.

Responsibilities

• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
• Accomplish financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
• Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
• Secure property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of property management experience.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Motivation for sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, and prospecting skills.
• Professionalism in internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test.
• Positive attitude with the desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
