Property Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. This is a full-time position with weekly pay. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service, with a focus on long-term professional growth within our rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities

• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
• Accomplish financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
• Maintain the property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
• Secure the property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.
• Sell and rent homes as well as lease lots for residents who purchase homes outside of our company.
• Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in manufactured housing or multifamily communities.
• Strong sales motivation, with skills in meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing, and prospecting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test.
• Desire to learn and excel in a growing company.
