About the role
The Property Manager is responsible for managing a manufactured housing community, focusing on community management, resident relations, and daily operations. Responsibilities include attracting tenants, collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective action, maintaining property, securing property, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rents; paying bills; forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations; contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
- Secures property by maintaining security devices; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Contracts with tenants by negotiating leases; collecting security deposit.
Requirements
- Must have 2-5 years of experience in property management.
- Team-oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Motivated for sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, prospecting skills, professionalism, internal communications, listening, communication processes.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to pass a drug test.
