About the role
The Property/Facilities Manager will monitor, maintain, and provide non-critical data center support throughout the US. This role involves leading planned and unplanned events related to non-critical operating equipment and building attributes, as well as resolving emergencies promptly. You will report to the Senior Director of Property Management and collaborate closely with Regional Directors, the VP of Operations, Customer Installation Project Managers, the NOC, and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate support to resolve non-critical data center tickets using critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain data center properties and work closely with the Director of Global Safety to correct any identified safety hazards.
- Identify, manage, and oversee third-party maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, and other property management vendors and contractors.
- Ensure vendors and contractors adhere to contractual obligations, safety and access procedures, and SLA requirements.
- Manage and coordinate non-critical Property Management Preventive and Corrective Maintenance at each data center.
- Ensure all data center access PINs are current for non-critical vendors performing routine services.
- Review access reports to confirm vendors adhere to their schedules as outlined in their scope of work.
- Work with the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and other company systems to ensure accuracy and timely documentation.
- Complete vendor report card evaluations as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues effectively.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and work with leadership to implement changes.
- Develop professional relationships and maintain communication with vendors, landlords, tenants, inspectors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage complaints and tenant needs.
- Conduct quarterly inspections at assigned data centers.
- Support EPA compliance-related activities as needed.
- Maintain an emergency vendor tracker and provide updates to the NOC for after-hours support.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
Requirements
- Associate degree and 3+ years of experience in facility operations or property management.
- Experience with trouble ticketing systems and Method-of-Procedure processes.
- Ability to recommend improvements to vendor and maintenance tracking systems.
- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Ability to manage and negotiate favorable vendor contracts.
- Experience in the Data Center industry, Construction, or Real Estate environments is a plus.

Pay
$80,000 – $95,000 USD per year.
