Job Overview

About the Role

Ebenezer is seeking a Property Manager to join their senior independent living team at Spero Belle Plaine in Belle Blaine, MN. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the community, including site staff supervision, financial oversight, marketing and sales, activity programming, and other business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a high-performing team within the community
  • Develop performance and operational goals with employees
  • Provide ongoing support and encourage professional development of the team
  • Absess employee performance and provide regular feedback
  • Address performance issues promptly and effectively
  • Promote staff understanding of their roles in achieving community goals and provide supportive feedback
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet community needs
  • Establish and support an environment conducive to providing quality services and high-level customer satisfaction
  • Be highly engaged with tenants/residents
  • Meet regularly with appropriate tenant/resident committees
  • Respond effectively to tenant/resident concerns
  • Routinely conduct and/or review satisfaction surveys
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent customer service and hold all employees to the same standard
  • Maintain financial performance
  • Develop and monitor annual budget
  • Support department directors with budget and financial goals
  • Review and monitor monthly financial statements with Ebenezer Corporate and Ownership Group
  • Monitor the maintenance of the building and grounds
  • Report accidents and emergency situations to Owner/Regional Director
  • Solicit bids
  • Oversee business office and human resource functions
  • Issue resident/tenant statements with accuracy
  • Answer billing questions from residents/tenants/responsible parties
  • Collect and track resident/tenant payments
  • Complete bank deposits
  • Provide complete and timely information to accounting department
  • Process Accounts Payable
  • Complete E-Time (payroll) functions
  • Ensure compliance with new employee and annual education requirements
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Manage wait list
  • Ensure community compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations

Qualifications

  • 3 years Life Experience in any of the following: Business, Sales, Hotel, Leasing, Accounting, Customer Service, Activities
  • Preferred Qualifications: Associate of Arts in Business/Marketing or related field
  • 5 years of previous experience

Pay

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Schedule

This property manager schedule includes 80 hours every two weeks, full-time, day shift, and weekends as needed.
