A well-established residential property management company in Chicago is seeking a Temporary Property Manager to join their team for a three-month assignment beginning August 3. This fully onsite opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $20–25/hour and is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional looking to gain valuable experience in residential property management.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of a residential community while assisting with administrative, operational, and resident service functions.
• Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for residents, vendors, and prospective tenants.
• Assist with resident inquiries, maintenance requests, move-ins, move-outs, and general lease administration.
• Maintain accurate resident files, property records, correspondence, and other documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders and ongoing property needs.
• Assist with rent collection tracking, invoice processing, reporting, and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Support property inspections, resident initiatives, and special projects while contributing to an outstanding resident experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, hospitality, leasing, or property management is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Dependable, organized, and available to work fully onsite in Lakeview beginning August 3 for a three-month temporary assignment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $20–25/hour.
