About The Role
As a CBRE Property Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a portfolio of industrial properties. This job is part of the Property Management job function. You will operate buildings on behalf of a client or group. The role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH USA.
What You'll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees.
- Monitor the training and development of staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship.
- Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Cook up and manage the team's daily activities.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Set and track staff and department goal dates.
- Mentor and coach as needed.
- Respond to raised tenant needs and issues.
- Perform financial reporting and lease abstracting.
- Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met.
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
- Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.
- Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
- Create and implement programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
- Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
- Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is timely.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience in commercial real estate and education will be considered.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
Pay
The minimum salary for the Property Manager is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary is $95,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
