About the role

As a CBRE Property Management Manager, you will supervise the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a single property or small portfolio of properties. This role is part of the Property Management job function and involves operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as the primary contact with property owners, serving as the owner representative to ensure objectives are met.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses; forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Create programs to assist properties with emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure timely payment.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements.
  • Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues, whether evident in existing systems and processes or not.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Real-estate License is required.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Pay

The minimum salary for the Property Manager position is $75,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $85,000 annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
