About the Role

The Property Manager oversees the overall operation and financial performance of the resort, ensuring an exceptional experience for residents and guests while maintaining a safe, attractive, and well-managed community. This leadership role includes responsibilities in property operations, staff management, budgeting, marketing initiatives, and customer service to maximize occupancy, profitability, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and prospective customers, fostering a welcoming and positive community environment.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the resort, including the management of buildings, grounds, amenities, and community assets.
  • Ensure the property is clean, safe, attractive, and maintained in accordance with company standards.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop resort team members to ensure operational excellence and high employee engagement.
  • Develop, prepare, monitor, and analyze the resort's operating budget while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Maximize property profitability through effective expense management, operational efficiency, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Plan and execute local marketing activities to attract new guests and increase occupancy.
  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to support advertising campaigns, promotions, and community events.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and prepare operational and financial reports for leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident and guest concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Property Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of property management experience, preferably within an RV resort or manufactured home community.
  • Strong operational management skills with a thorough understanding of property management best practices.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience with a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based business applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and current automobile insurance.
