Property Manager

About the Role

The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the property, ensuring efficient operations, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting. This position also creates a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including resident satisfaction, retention, lease administration, rent collection, and delinquency management.
• Oversee property P&L and marketing in accordance with company standards.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, and hire associates, providing corrective feedback when necessary.
• Create a positive work environment by leading, communicating a shared vision, and offering coaching and development.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Respond to resident complaints and serve as a liaison between residents and the corporate office.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
• Organize and implement emergency and natural disaster plans.
• Manage safety records, property loss claims, and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of property management experience required.
• 1-2 years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Yardi Voyager or equivalent systems preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, plus weekends as needed.
