About the role
The Property Management Credit Specialist is responsible for managing customer credit accounts, including communication, billing, and resolving payment issues.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers regarding credit applications, billing, discrepancies, and past due invoices.
- Collect past due invoices and resolve payment applications.
- Grant extensions of credit as needed.
- Receive payments and post amounts to customer accounts as required.
- Confer with customers by phone, mail, and email to determine reasons for overdue payments and obtain payments.
- Review terms of sale, service, payment, or credit contracts with customers.
- Record information about the financial status of customers and the progress of collection efforts.
- Maintain electronic CRM notes of customer interactions and account statuses.
- Determine when delinquent customer accounts should be turned over to the legal department.
Requirements
- A minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or property management experience.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Three (3) years of experience in a working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm
