Property Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting affordable housing communities throughout Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Piru, CA. This position supports apartment maintenance, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, resident service requests, and general property upkeep across multiple communities. Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other building repairs.
- Complete apartment turnovers and prepare vacant units for new resident occupancy.
- Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, and property amenities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests and assist with move-in, move-out, and bi-annual inspections.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property repairs, services, and special maintenance projects.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, equipment records, and complete emergency after-hours maintenance when needed.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have experience in hands-on maintenance and repair work, with a commitment to maintaining safe and well-kept properties.
Pay
$21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
