About the role

The Property Large Loss General Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex property insurance claims involving significant structural, commercial, or high-value residential losses. This role requires expert technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage large-scale claims from initial assignment through final resolution while providing superior customer service to policyholders, agents, and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive investigations of major property losses, including fire, water, wind, catastrophe-related damage, and specialty commercial claims.
• Conduct on-site inspections to determine scope, cause, and extent of damages.
• Analyze policy coverage, exclusions, and endorsements to establish claim validity and compensability.
• Coordinate and oversee experts such as engineers, forensic accountants, contractors, appraisers, or specialty consultants.
