Property Field Adjuster II

You will play a vital role in providing an outstanding customer experience by leveraging investigative and estimation skills to handle a variety of homeowner claims in a high-energy team environment.
About the role
You will travel to loss sites to conduct damage and coverage assessments and, when appropriate, write estimates for repairs. As a member of the SageSure Field Claims Team, you’ll have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping our policyholders get back to pre-loss condition.
Responsibilities
- Scope and estimate first-party homeowners and commercial claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage and damage issues, communicating your findings to customers.
- Partner with external parties (contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, etc.) and internal business partners to handle complex claims.
- Identify suspicious losses, recommend SIU review, and assist in such investigations when necessary.
- Handle claims in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal processes.
- Support catastrophe response as needed, to include potential overtime and deployment.
- Any other duties needed to help drive our purpose and fulfill our values.
Requirements
- 3+ years of field property claims experience.
- Claims Connect/Symbility estimating experience, including large loss estimation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Empathetic interpersonal skills.
- Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license not required; meets requirements for licensing in additional states as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Large/Complex loss estimating and claims handling experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in catastrophe-focused environments.
- Professional designations.
