Property Condition Specialist
About The Role
Renjoy manages 200+ vacation homes across Colorado Springs, and we're hiring one person to own something nobody else does: how every home looks, smells, and feels before a guest ever walks through the door. You'll be the expert eyes on our portfolio — spending focused, in-depth time at each property, catching the details a guest or owner would notice before they ever do. You'll sort what you find into three buckets: fix it now, plan for it soon, or fold it into the next tune-up. You'll knock out quick fixes on the spot and hand off a clear, prepared brief to our maintenance and housekeeping teams so they arrive ready to execute. Every visit closes with a report and video walkthrough that shows owners we're genuinely on top of their home.
This isn't a role for someone who coasts. It's for someone with "the eye" — who spots the crooked frame and the off smell and knows which ones actually matter. Someone self-directed enough to own their day and honest enough to say the hard thing when a property needs real attention. At Renjoy, we deliver exceptional experiences through unreasonable hospitality — and that starts with homes that are cared for at the level guests feel but can't quite name. This role is how we make that happen.
A valid Colorado driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required. Mileage is reimbursed.
What You'll Do
- Inspect 3–5 homes per day on a clustered route, ensuring every property in the portfolio is fully walked each quarter
- Conduct a full video walkthrough of each home, calling out maintenance, cleaning, staging, and safety items as you go
- Fix quick items on the spot — straighten a picture, swap lock batteries, touch up paint
- Triage everything you find: what's urgent, what gets planned, what can wait — and hand off a clear brief so our maintenance team shows up prepared
- Deliver a quarterly report and video walkthrough that gives owners confidence we're fully on top of their home
- Flag anything that represents a guest risk or owner concern the same day — no sitting on hard news
Who You Are
We hire for values first. Here's what that looks like in this role:
- See Something, Do Something — You don't file a report and walk away from a five-minute fix. You handle it, then document it.
- Say the Hard Thing — When a property is in rough shape, you say so clearly. Owners deserve honesty, not a softened version of the truth.
- Do What You Say — You plan your route, own your day, and deliver your reports. No chasing required.
- Own the Miss — If something gets missed on a walkthrough, you own it and make it right — not because someone caught it, but because your standard demands it.
- Make It Better — You don't just check boxes. You leave every property better than you found it and look for ways to raise the bar on how we inspect and report.
Qualifications
- "The eye" — you spot the small things and know which ones matter
- Are handy enough to knock out quick fixes with confidence
- Think like a guest and an owner at the same time
- Are comfortable using a phone and app to manage tasks and documentation throughout your day
- Thrive on autonomy — you don't need someone telling you what to do next
Pay & Schedule
- Full-time, hourly | W2 position
- Mileage reimbursed
- Shifts are field-based across the Colorado Springs portfolio
- Schedule includes some weekend availability — properties don't take days off
Why Renjoy
We're not a typical property management company. We're a hospitality company that happens to manage vacation rentals — and there's a real difference. We invest in the people who touch the product, build technology that eliminates the busywork, and hold ourselves to a standard our guests feel even when they can't explain it. If you take pride in doing things right when no one's watching and want a real seat on a team that's building something worth being part of — this is it.
