About the role
Our client is in the insurance industry and is seeking a Property & Casualty (P&C) Coordinator (Agency Support Lead and supervision) that will lead growth efforts of their new P&C line of business. This role will be responsible for helping establish the operational foundation, building agent support resources and becoming the subject-matter expert by actively participating in training with our carrier and technology partners. As the line matures, the coordinator will drive production growth, ensure compliance, and provide best-in-class support to our agents.
Responsibilities
- Implementation & Enablement
- Develop internal workflows, documentation, and agent support processes.
- Participate in and complete all partner-led training to master tools, underwriting guidelines, quoting platforms, and product knowledge.
- Translate learnings into training materials, job aids, and agent communications.
- Business Leadership & Performance
- Contribute to the strategic plan for P&C growth and expansion.
- Track key metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Agent Support & Development
- Serve as the primary point of contact for P&C inquiries.
- Guide agents through quoting systems, product selection, and underwriting documentation.
- Carrier & Partner Relationship Support
- Maintain close communication with carrier reps and partner trainers.
- Escalate issues and collaborate to optimize agent experience.
- Aid in expanding product offerings and maintaining competitive compensation structures.
- Compliance, Process & Alignment
- Ensure all P&C sales activities follow state regulations, carrier rules, and internal standards.
- Work across departments (Compliance, Marketing, Data/IT, Sales Ops) to ensure a smooth rollout.
- Promote cross-sell initiatives with other lines of business.
Requirements
- Active 220 insurance license
- 2+ years of experience in P&C sales, underwriting, or agency support required.
- Bilingual English – Spanish
Qualifications
- Learn and train on CRM's
- Experience supervising Sales Agents and/or call centers
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High level of initiative and comfort working in a startup-like environment
- Management experience or sales coordination in a similar role a huge plus
Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and partners
Benefits
- Compensation: Salary $75K- $85K+ (based on experience) with the potential to double your salary in quarterly and annual bonus = estimated OTE $140K + ($500K monthly for health benefits)
- 10 PTO days, 5 personal days, and all federal holidays off
