You must be able to take the state exam in the greater Houston, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Support customers via phone and email with new policy quotes and billing inquiries.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, and coverage updates accurately.
• Navigate underwriting questions and explain protection options to clients.
• Ensure all transactions meet industry regulations and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Background in customer service; call-center experience is a plus.
• Growth mindset—seeking a stable career, not a short-term gig.
• Detail-oriented, especially when handling legal documents and applications.
• Ability to translate complex insurance terms into clear, helpful advice.
• Reliable—must pass a background check and commit to the full 8-week training schedule.

Internet Service Requirements

• Acceptable wired services:
  • Cable internet
  • Fiber-optic internet
  • DSL broadband
• Unacceptable services:
  • Cellular/mobile hotspots (4G, 5G, LTE)
  • Fixed wireless internet
  • Satellite internet (e.g., Starlink, HughesNet, Viasat)
• Direct Ethernet Connection Requirement: The Qualfon computer must be plugged directly into your home router or modem using an Ethernet cable. Wi-Fi, extenders, mesh systems, or boosters are not permitted.
• Proof of internet service provider and service required upon hire.

Pay

• Training Phase: $18.00/hr (up to 64 hours)
• Licensed Phase: $22.50/hr (upon passing the state exam)

Qualfon covers pre-licensing coursework and the cost of two exam attempts.
