Property Care Crew Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a small crew during installation and maintenance of client properties.
• Aid in the hands-on installation of plant material, containers, soil amendments, and décor.
• Train and guide crew members on tasks, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Maintain productivity and adherence to schedule while fostering a positive team environment.
• Perform routine maintenance duties, including watering, deadheading, pruning, and fertilizing to OEG standards.
• Communicate plant health issues, supply shortages, or site concerns promptly to the Client Representative.
• Load and transport tools, materials, and plant material between the branch and job sites as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to OEG standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma (a degree in horticulture is recommended).
• Relevant certificate may be required.
• Minimum of 2+ years working experience.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
• On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
• Experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.

Pay

Position Range: $22.00 - $28.00
