Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Property and Casualty Account Manager to join our team. This position is a key role within our Accounting + Finance industry, where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial lines. You will be the main point of contact for all matters specific to your customers and will be expected to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients, acting as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your portfolio.
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in cold calling to develop new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience of 5+ years as a Property and Casualty Account Manager or relevant role in the Accounting + Finance industry.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in commercial lines, general liability, workers compensation, and commercial auto.
  • Experience in cold calling and account management.
  • Insurance industry certifications and licenses are a plus.
