Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join their team. This onsite position in Scottsdale, Arizona is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with property management teams (commercial and residential) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting for assigned properties
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ownership reporting packages
- Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain tenant ledgers, including rent rolls, and billings
- Work closely with property managers and leadership to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and deadlines
- Support special projects as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience (property accounting highly preferred)
- Proficiency with accounting software - Yardi
- Excellent Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Salary
