Summary
The LP Service Technician II at PepUp is responsible for leading service calls, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving service success. Key responsibilities include cleaning and servicing LP equipment, troubleshooting and repairing heating and LP equipment, installing and testing propane lines and appliances, and working flexible hours to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications / Duties / Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning and servicing LP equipment during field visits
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, and repairs heating and LP equipment and tanks
- Installs and tests propane lines and propane-powered appliances
- Works as a team member and is available to work in the field to meet customer needs
- Fulfills all company procedures and protocols
- Willing to cross-train and drive a bobtail for deliveries (when needed)
- Able to be on-call
Skills & Experience
- Clean driving record with Class B CDL, hazmat, and tanker endorsements
- Gas Fitter License
- Pass CETP (Certified Employee Training Program)
- 2-3 years of LP service experience
- Proven trouble-shooting skills
- Desire to grow and accelerate with the Company
- Good customer relations
- A positive, upbeat attitude
- A team member exhibiting a positive attitude and work ethic
Physical Demands
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, pull, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- May need to work in restricted spaces like attics or crawl spaces
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
