Promotions Technician (Part-Time)

Part-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX supporting Audacy’s Promotions and Programming departments at 12–15 live broadcasts and events per month.

About the role

Audacy Dallas seeks a versatile, self-starting Promotions Technician to maintain branding equipment and vehicle fleet readiness while executing off-site events, live sports coverage, and remote broadcasts. You’ll engage audiences, uphold station image, and collaborate across sales, promotions, and programming teams.

Responsibilities

• Support in-station and field operations for sales, promotions, and programming.
• Maintain and organize promotional equipment and station vehicles.
• Develop and document procedures for broadcast equipment readiness.
• Engineer live remote broadcasts using IP technology, ensuring high-quality transmission from off-site locations.
• Operate as FOH sound engineer for a live performance studio.
• Manage remote broadcast vans equipped with generators and pneumatic masts.
• Assist with setup, repair, and troubleshooting of broadcast gear, sound equipment, office equipment, and furniture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard production gear.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, on-location environments and solve problems creatively.
• Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor vehicle record, and proof of insurance if using a personal vehicle.
