About the role

Nonprofit and noncommercial RadioU is seeking an experienced radio promotions and marketing professional in Columbus, Ohio. In this in-person role, you’ll elevate and oversee RadioU’s physical presence at concerts and community events while leading the expansion and oversight of digital marketing efforts. Your ambition, organization, and enthusiasm for managing nighttime and weekend promotional events will be vital. Additionally, you’ll host a radio airshift for RadioU’s FM stations, streaming, and social media, bringing an energetic personality and genuine passion for Gen Z listeners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RadioU’s physical presence at concerts and community events
• Lead and expand digital marketing efforts
• Manage nighttime and weekend promotional events
• Host a radio airshift for FM stations, streaming, and social media

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in radio promotions and on-air
• Recent on-air experience and energetic personality
• Genuine passion for Gen Z listeners and familiarity with RadioU’s format and artists
• Must include a radio aircheck (file or link) with submission

Qualifications

• Superfan of Christian rock and hip-hop music
• Additional experience in production or other relevant areas is a plus
