About the role

Live Nation Entertainment is the world's leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. Ticketmaster is the global leader in event ticketing with over 620 million tickets sold annually and approximately 10,000 clients worldwide. Live Nation Concerts is the largest provider of live entertainment in the world promoting more than 50,000 events annually for nearly 7,000 artists in 40+ countries. These businesses allow Live Nation Media & Sponsorship to create strategic music marketing programs that connect more than 1,200 sponsors with the 145 million fans that attend Live Nation Entertainment events each year.

The Associate, Business Development will help grow and support the business development function for Promoted Ads, Ticketmaster's proprietary advertising platform. This role blends prospecting, client support, business operations, and marketing coordination — keeping the pipeline accurate and moving, supporting day-to-day client and operational needs, and enabling Directors to spend more time building relationships and driving growth. You'll become a subject-matter expert on the Promoted Ads product, leading demos and discovery calls and serving as the voice of the client to Product. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is curious, dependable, thorough, process-minded, and client-focused, and eager to build a career in business development or sales.

Responsibilities

  • Research, qualify, and prioritize prospective clients for the team, while onboarding self-serve users and setting them up for success
  • Support initial outreach and communications to prospects
  • Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and next-step information in the CRM
  • Identify opportunities to improve pipeline organization, follow-up consistency, and reporting
  • Become a subject-matter expert on the Promoted Ads product
  • Lead product demos and discovery calls on your own, tailoring solutions to each client's goals
  • Act as the voice of the client to Product — bringing back feature requests, competitive intel, and friction points that shape the roadmap
  • Support the Business Development team with beta tests, new feature launches, and go-to-market enablement
  • Translate campaign performance data into recommendations and upsell opportunities for the team
  • Support the monthly billing process, keeping billing documents up to date and organized for a smooth invoicing cycle
  • Help draft process documentation, ensuring clarity across the team and cross-functionally
  • Support the BD team in responding to routine client questions, ensuring requests are followed through to resolution
  • Troubleshoot basic issues, coordinate with internal teams, and keep clients and stakeholders informed
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, B2B Marketing, Ad Operations, and Finance, as well as stakeholders across the company, to support client needs and business priorities
  • Keep business development materials, presentations, case studies, and other resources current and organized across resource hubs
  • Support marketing initiatives, such as relevant industry events and year-end client gifting
  • Prepare client-facing presentations, meeting materials, and internal updates

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, marketing, or a related field
  • Genuine curiosity about event marketers — promoters, venues, sports teams, and arts and theater organizations — and their goals and challenges, with the ability to build trusted relationships through thoughtful listening and follow-through
  • Comfortable learning the technical details of Promoted Ads' products and the broader digital advertising/retail media landscape, and translating them clearly for different audiences
  • Confident and polished in client-facing conversations, including preparing for and delivering product demos and presentations
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and owning recurring workflows
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable asking thoughtful questions to understand issues beyond the surface level
  • Analytical aptitude, with the ability to pull, organize, and analyze basic performance, campaign, or business data to identify trends and flag potential issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive)
  • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline-management platforms such as Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar tools
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working across multiple tools and platforms
  • Interest in digital advertising, media, entertainment, and technology
  • Bonus: experience with Asana, Jira, or similar project-management tools

Benefits

  • Health: Medical, vision, dental and mental health benefits for you and your family, with access to a health care concierge, and Flexible or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA)
  • Yourself: Free concert tickets, generous paid time off including paid holidays, sick time, and personal days
  • Wealth: 401(k) program with company match, stock reimbursement program
  • Family: New parent programs including caregiver leave, plus fertility, adoption, foster, or surrogacy support
  • Career: Career and skill development programs with School of Live, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment
  • Others: Volunteer time off, crowdfunding match

Pay
