What You’ll Actually Do Respond to emergencies like burst pipes, flooded basements, sewage backups and roof leaksExtract standing water with pumps and extractorsTear out wet drywall, plaster, carpet, pad, hardwood, vinyl, tile, baseboard and cabinetsBuild plastic containment, then set up, move and take down dehumidifiers, air movers and air scrubbersWork in sewage, mold and fire debris in full PPE, including a respirator and Tyvek suitMove and protect furniture and contents, and help with pack-outsCarry debris out and load and unload trucksTake moisture readings and photos on a phone or tablet app every visitKeep your truck and equipment clean, stocked and decontaminatedTreat homeowners with patience and kindness when they’re having a terrible dayKeep your supervisor and the office informed Requirements (must Have All) Must be at least 25 years old.
