Purpose and Scope

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain offshore seismic, subsea, and networking systems
- Integrate and support multi-disciplinary systems across mechanical, instrumentation, ROV/AUV, and marine IT/OT environments
- Diagnose faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Configure and support offshore networks including LAN/WAN, satellite communications, and real-time data systems
- Support mobilizations, demobilizations, commissioning, and system readiness activities both onshore and offshore
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk, and quality standards in all operations
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Contribute to new technology deployment, digital solutions, and ESG initiatives
- Support asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and cost optimization efforts
- Provide technical input to projects, tenders, and commercial activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear technical documentation and training materials
Key Competencies
- Strong technical expertise in offshore seismic systems, OBN technologies, subsea operations, and system integration
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and troubleshooting
- Experience with marine IT/OT systems, satellite communications, and real-time acquisition environments
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in operational settings
- Strong operational execution skills with the ability to perform effectively in offshore and high-pressure environments
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Able to balance technical decisions with operational and commercial considerations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across global, multidisciplinary teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable with the ability to manage competing priorities
Qualifications & Preferred Certifications
- Degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with offshore, subsea, or marine acquisition systems and system integration
- Proven hands-on troubleshooting and field support experience
- Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- CompTIA Network+
- Juniper (JNCIA) or equivalent networking certifications
