About the role
IQVIA is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Support Specialist to support the successful delivery of client-facing projects within a fast-paced digital and healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers and client service teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects.
- Facilitate coordination between Account Managers, Account Specialists, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
- Cook up and lead internal project status meetings and client touchpoints, documenting key actions and follow-up items.
- Translate client requirements into clear project briefs, work plans, and actionable deliverables for internal teams.
- Establish and maintain project timelines, task assignments, resource plans, and project trackers.
- Collaborate with technical, strategic, and operational stakeholders to identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, status reports, meeting notes, and client communications.
- Support preparation of presentations, reports, and materials for client engagements and business reviews.
- Monitor project progress and proactively communicate issues, delays, or resource constraints to project leadership.
- Ensure quality standards are met and deliverables align with client expectations and business requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and enhance project management efficiency.
- Perform additional project coordination and administrative activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 1+ years of experience supporting projects, operations, client services, account management, or related business functions.
- Preferred: Project management experience within a marketing agency, consulting, or professional services environment; experience supporting healthcare clients or healthcare marketing initiatives is a plus. Exposure to project management methodologies and project management tools. Experience using project tracking and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, or similar solutions.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs. Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
Pay
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $48,600.00 - $121,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
