Project Superintendent / Water/Wastewater

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and administer safety policies
• Maintain quality standards above or at par
• Short-term scheduling including manpower and equipment resources
• Coordinate permit and regulatory inspections
• Control field documents including daily reports and progress photographs
• Handle materials including receiving, inventory, storage, and spare parts
• Coordinate with subcontractors as needed
• Create as-builts drawings
• Participate in post-construction reviews
• Manage small tools
• Communicate changes in project scope to the Project Manager
• Ensure a clean and orderly jobsite

Qualifications

• Experience supervising projects in water or wastewater industries
• Experience managing craft and self-performing work
• Experience with cast-in-place concrete, piping, and mechanical equipment
• Supervisory experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Current training as Competent Person in Trenching, Scaffolds, Rigging, Confined Space, and Fall Protection
• Current OSHA 10-hour, First Aid & CPR, SWPPP Inspector, silica, Risk Management, and Accident training
• Successful completion of multi-million-dollar projects
