Project Superintendent (Multifamily Construction)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all field operations of the project.
• Provide the leadership, motivation, and enthusiasm necessary to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment at the workplace.
• Read and know the details of each Subcontract, Purchase Order, and Change Order issued on your project.
• Monitor the work of subordinates to ensure they are performing their work to your satisfaction and in the best interest of the company.
• Maintain good working relationships with field staff and subs.
• Maintain an understanding of local codes and regulations.
• Consistently promote safety on the project site.
• Manage 3rd party consultant inspections.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of plans and specs for the project.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent.
• Experience utilizing MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility codes, and water intrusion issues.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
