Project Superintendent

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan & supervise field tasks on a commercial project.
• Participate on quality control and production planning.
• Enforce safety program.
• Provide field supervision and execution of project safety, administration, schedule, and quality control.
• Monitor the project to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and orderly jobsite and proper administration of safety policies.
• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Plan, schedule, inspect, and supervise all work at the project site.
• Develop and manage short-term schedules, including manpower and equipment resources.
• Complete projects within established time and budget constraints.
• Coverage subcontractors and lead subcontractor meetings.
• Coordinate permit and regulatory inspections.
• Participate in owner, design team, and post-construction review meetings.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and changes in scope to the Project Manager.
• Maintain field document control, including daily reports, progress photographs, and accurate quantity reporting and timekeeping.
• Manage material handling, including receiving, inventory, storage, and spare parts.
• Oversee small tool management.
• Support jobsite hiring as required.
• Maintain and update As-Built drawings.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of contract documents.
• Work collaboratively with the project team and assist the direct supervisor in all field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience as an assistant superintendent.
• Minimum 5 years as a superintendent.
