Project Specialist HSE
About the role
We are looking for an HSE Project Specialist to drive HSSE excellence in Umbilicals & Cables projects, ensuring compliance while promoting a proactive safety and sustainability culture across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) performance across Umbilicals & Cables (U&C) projects.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the HSSE Management System within the project, in full compliance with regulatory, corporate, contractual, and certification requirements.
- Provide functional expertise and support to the Project Manager, contributing to the continuous development of a strong, healthy, safe, and sustainable performance culture.
- Act as an integrated member of the Project Team, reporting within the project organization and maintaining regular interaction with the client.
- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing HSSE team to ensure alignment and consistency in HSSE practices across both project and manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Min 3-5 years of experience in HSSE, technical safety or similar.
- Documented practice working with HSSE in projects.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry is advantageous.
- Minimum Bachelor of Science/ Social Science; relevant for the HSSE position.
