Position Description
The Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine, at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates potential openings for appointments in the Project Scientist series. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated with research experience in specialization strongly preferred. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Position may be full or part-time and are dependent on extramural funding and research contract of individual Principal Investigators. Initial appointments are typically one year and renewal are based on availability of support and need.
Qualifications
The candidate for a title in this series must have earned a doctorate, or its equivalent (PhD or MD/PhD).
