Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project sales or commercial sales within the flooring, construction, or related building products industry; proven record of winning commercial projects.
- Strong estimating and bidding experience, including takeoffs, unit pricing, labor productivity, and subcontractor coordination.
- Deep knowledge of commercial flooring products, installation methods, and contract types (unit price, lump sum, allowance-based).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships at owner, architect, and contractor levels.
- Proven negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
Qualifications
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regionally to client sites, project walkthroughs, and industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
