Project Quality Engineer

Dematic is seeking an upbeat self-starter to join our winning team as a Project Quality Engineer, leading quality across several complex projects in a fast-paced setting. This role ensures project quality requirements align with business strategies and are consistently applied to achieve stated goals safely, efficiently, and with customer satisfaction. Approximately 50% onsite and 50% remote collaboration with customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage RCA investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and complete project quality plans to meet requirements.
• Support Quality Gate reviews and perform pre-gate quality assessments.
• Track project quality benchmarks and provide monthly performance reports.
• Ensure project activities align with contractual quality requirements and the Dematic Quality Management System.
• Drive continuous improvement and address process or plan deviations.
• Partner with regional teams to improve product quality and process execution.
• Use advanced analytics to identify trends, speed up RCA investigations, and support data-informed quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
• Preferred minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to write and produce technical reports and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
• Proven skills in quality improvement techniques (e.g., RCA, A3, 8D).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong capabilities in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Data-driven with capabilities in using Power BI, AI, and/or other data capture tools (preferred).
• Ability to travel 50% or more domestically, with potential international travel.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $84,750 - $124,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
