Project Purchasing Manager- Data Center
Location: Beverly, Ohio
Salary Range: $63,000 to $98,000. Final determination of starting pay will vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

About the Purchasing Team
Cupertino Electric’s Purchasing Team manages all equipment and materials purchases for job sites and corporate expenditures. This includes vetting vendors and establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
About the Role
The Project Purchasing Manager will strategically buy out electrical commodities to support installation activities. Responsibilities include:
- Onboarding vendor engagement processes: RFP, QCS, Submittal Process, Fabrication & Scheduling Updates, and Meeting Minutes with Action Item Log
- Implementing project purchasing and delivery plans to meet job-specific needs for material procurement, delivery, and receipt
- Collaborating with a General Foreman to develop Bills of Material for installation phases
- Interfacing with suppliers weekly to discuss upcoming work phases, backorders, returns, and deliveries
- Executing site purchasing programs: onsite consignments, hold-for-release packages, Go-carts, and kitting
- Tracking, expediting, and reporting on all material shipments to site
- Issuing accurate purchase orders and assisting the Accounts Payable Team with discrepancies
- Generating reports and cleaning up outstanding commitments in the system
- Developing and reviewing supplier performance scorecards quarterly
Responsibilities

- Exercise good business judgment and analytical thinking
- Manage projects with strong facilitation and communication skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Five (5) years of purchasing experience (construction or electrical distribution preferred)
- Technical competency in construction equipment and industry dynamics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and Word
