About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project / Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing and customer-focused projects from order receipt through design, production, testing, delivery, and final customer acceptance. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and has a strong background managing projects involving engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, sales, and field service teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedules, change orders, and contractual requirements.
- Track project financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
- Coordinate material procurement, production schedules, testing activities, and delivery milestones.
- Lead project review meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other project management certification.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
- Background in manufacturing, industrial equipment, construction, power systems, or engineered-to-order environments.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and large capital equipment programs.
Pay
Up to $55.00/hour
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexible start times available based on business needs
