About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project / Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing and customer-focused projects from order receipt through design, production, testing, delivery, and final customer acceptance. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and has a strong background managing projects involving engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, sales, and field service teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedules, change orders, and contractual requirements.
• Track project financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• Coordinate material procurement, production schedules, testing activities, and delivery milestones.
• Lead project review meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or other project management certification.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial equipment, construction, power systems, or engineered-to-order environments.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects and large capital equipment programs.

Pay

Up to $55.00/hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexible start times available based on business needs
