Project Manager (Western Region)
About the role
Osmose is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities related to utility services. This role involves participating in project conceptualization, overseeing organization, scheduling, and implementation, and ensuring project objectives align with contracted scope of work.
Responsibilities
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company policy and contracted work scope specifications.
- Track, manage, and resolve project issues throughout the project life cycle.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
- Formulate reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling for internal and external distribution.
- Implement and adhere to the project management process and methodology.
- Work with contract administrators to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Represent Osmose in customer-facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
- Track and reconcile revenue, cost of goods, accruals, and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field (such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or business) preferred, with 3-7 years of proven Project Management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong presentation skills.
- PREFERRED: Experience in the utility or utility services industry, PMP/PMI certification.
