Qualifications
- At least 12 years of professional experience
- At least 6 years of this experience must be as a licensed PE working on water, and/or wastewater treatment-type work
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Firm understanding of engineering fundamentals as they relate to hydraulics and pump stations, wastewater design aspects such as preliminary and primary treatment, biological nutrient removal (BNR), solids treatment and odor control, and water treatment design aspects such as chemical feed systems, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration, and associated regulatory requirements
