What You'll Do
- Manage projects of varying scope and complexity in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Project Management Manual.
- Develop scopes, schedules, and fees for projects and additional services.
- Develop project plans and manage project performance, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Negotiate fees and prepare contracts, including additional services.
- Select and oversee project teams, including engineers, scientists, technical staff, and subconsultants.
- Maintain accurate project plans, including labor projections, financial goals, and quality program planning.
- Communicate regularly with project teams and track progress relative to scope and deliverables.
- Conduct project meetings and present technical information to clients.
- Communicate with clients regarding project progress, challenges, and changes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and support business development efforts.
- Develop client proposals and support marketing activities.
- Ensure project documents are consistent with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze data, identify problems, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide quality assurance and quality control in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Quality Program.
- Cookordination and management of quality control activities and documentation.
Who You Are
- Education: BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive consulting or related experience as a Project Manager.
- Licensure: May require registration as a Florida Professional Engineer, Geologist, or Architect
- Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
