Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for clients
  • Form long-term relationships with clients and pursue new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts
  • Play an integral role in leading and mentoring staff
  • Work with diverse multi-discipline teams, sharing knowledge and learning from others
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to win work
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and present proposals and contract strategies
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of one or all of the following drinking water treatment, reuse, and/or distribution, wastewater treatment, and/or treatment processes and technologies
  • Multi-discipline design management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
  • Project management experience for water utility projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Experience with process mechanical design and willingness to perform as the discipline lead role on an as-needed basis
  • Master’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering

Pay

$115,000.00 to $175,000.00

Schedule

Hybrid working policy allowing split work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations
